Important Dates/Events

Ohio Strength “Trunk or Treat” – Saturday 10/19 10:30am-12:30pm – Join us after the 9:30am class in your most festive Halloween costume as we pop our trunks and share halloween and fall festive food, treats and drinks.  Bring your family, including kids and friends along with some treats or drinks to share with everyone trick or treat style from the trunk of your car.  There is also a Short North Halloween Bar Crawl taking place from 1-5pm that afternoon for those of us that want to continue the festivities afterward!  It is an Ohio State bye week, but we will put the college football Saturday pre-game shows on the TVs for all the other games that are going on.  More details to follow in the coming weeks but mark your calendars, and email me with any questions!

The Columbus Marathon & Half Marathon – Sunday 10/20 – we have a lot of members and coaches that are running the race this year!  If you are participating, please add your name to the list on the whiteboard up front so that we can cheer everyone on for race day!

Squatober is back for another year! – for those that want a commitment challenge or just want to get better at squatting, we have extra credit squats programmed for each weekday after class during the month of October as we follow along with the global Squatober challenge. Remember to start with a “training max” which is about 90% of your true 1 rep max, be sure to warm up as needed if not already warmed up from class, listen to your body, add in extra mobility work and recovery work and EAT & SLEEP hard to support the gainz and added recovery needed from this kind of higher frequency squat training.  Email me with any questions!
